Wouldn't the oat bran also attract other visitors, i.e. mice, raccoons,
larger birds, or heaven forbid, deer? I'm thinking the smell of that grain
would make their little mouths water.
Also, how do you handle the wet bran after a rain? Doesn't it mold and
draw those little sow bugs? I don't want to sound like I'm knocking your
idea, but if this method is cheaper than using other means, I'd like to try
it if all else sounds good.
