Plan, hmmm. As a chainsaw carpenter I never met a plan that was devoted to
chainsaws - they all want you to know what you're doing. :-)

You got it.

>If so, doesn't the mist get everywhere and the wood rot?

You got that too. :-)
Chainsaw carpenters are fast though, so if it rots in 3-5 years, by then I
can have 3 2X4's nailed together covered with a hunk of snow fence ready to
replace it.

  Do you need an

Nope, its actually quite pleasant on a hot day to get blasted. Cold days are
a fast walk if the timer kicks on.

What do you use for bottom heat (the water bed
>heater others have endorsed)?

I use a roof heating cable controlled by a good commercial soil probe
thermostat. The bed is 16'X4' and this 100' cable winds up and back (never
touching) and is secured to the bench with string. Cover that with aluminum
foil to avoid hot spots. The whole aluminum foil heats up and gives uniform
heat.

Where did you put the table -- outside
>(but what about rain?) or inside (do you have a greenhouse)?

Inside a 1500 sq.ft. solar greenhouse (our propagation unit)

Start with a home based system - pot in pot works quite well and use
anti-dessicant. (Shameless plug coming so ignore it if sensitive - my first
book "Landscape Magic" published by Chapters - now Houghton Mifflin -
describes an easy proces for doing this on page 33)
