I don't know about deer (I doubt if it would deter them) or rabbits (maybe),
but it's effectively kept the ground hogs from revisiting plants they've
chomped on in my garden and planters for the last 3 years. I never do get
it together early enough to sprinkle it on before they visit the plants each
spring. They got at the dahlias in a planter twice before I sprinkled them.
Be careful, though, I burned some Torenia leaves by sprinkling too much on
them this year, but at least the groundhogs haven't been back.
