Re: Chocolate Cosmos

Mary-

I too am in zone 9 - a very humid zone 9. I have only tried this one once
and I think I planted him too crowded with everything else and he was
overshadowed. Does yours have alot of room (good air circulation)? Do you
have him in full sun or 1/2 day? Are you humid there in Cal? I'm not trying
to be a drill sargeant, honestly.....I've only seen the choc. cosmos at a
garden center once and I purchased one....he didn't do very well but I really
don't think I gave him a very good chance. I would like to know your
conditions of growing the cosmos so should I see him available again I can
try him and give him a more idealistic environment.

Thanks and happy gardening
