Thanks for this information, Marge. I wondered why I never saw seed pods on
the double bloodroot. Nonetheless, it is a plant that is well worth growing.
If you find the spot it likes, it appears to be long lived. I do wish it
would spread more vigorously. I once saw a large planting of it and the
beauty of this flower in a large planting is enough to make you swoon. It
certainly gives plant envy. This is one of those plants I would not be
without.
