Re: Distorted Phlox Leaves

Hal,

I think the consensus is probably right. I spent a considerable time
in the wee hours searching for something that might cause this and
the only thing I came up with was herbicide damage. Anybody been
spraying in your vicinity?

Besides powdery mildew and eelworms and something called a phlox bug
on whom I could find absolutely nothing, Phlox, by and large, aren't
bothered by much. Could be a virus, but that seems odd if they have
hitherto been healthy plants.

Bambi prunes my tall Phlox regularly (would rather they didn't), but
they generally recover and bloom anyway - not the huge trusses you'd
get if they weren't pruned, but, flowers. So whack yours back and
make sure they are watered - they don't like to dry out.
