Barb -- White foam sounds like spittlebugs. No need for pesticides, they are
easy to control. Just wash the 'spittle' off with spray from a hose -- the
tiny insects are inside the foam and they will be washed away, too. The
spittle (and bugs) wash off easily, so this should be no problem, but do be
careful to watch your rear. Apparently, you never know when your hose will
attack. --Janis
