No, Kay, they don't feel pain, they just give it. They are
diabolical plant eaters, manufactured by the Devil in Hades (don't
pay any attention to the fake mgf. names on them) and sold (at high
prices) to gardeners so they can practice masochism while deluding
themselves that they are saving their thirsty plants. Hate is not a
strong enough term for the emotions my various hoses engender. If I
had the brains of a flea, I would have installed underground
irrigation 25 years ago when it was actually possible, which it isn't
now.
