Favorite sun loving perennials

Hi:

I am trying to redo a sunny garden that currently consists only of
lavender and daylilies.  Am going to reduce number of lavender plants
and number of daylilies so I can have more blooms during the summer.

I'd like recommendations of long-blooming perennials that would like
these conditions.  Will be adding in a few Louisiana iris too but those
will also be short-term bloomers.
