Bronze fennel puts out a flower, but is really
grown for foliage and it is food for butterfly
larva and/or adults (don't have any books with
me at work) (so don't get rid of any catapillars
you see). It seeds EVERYWHERE and can be a
bit of a pest, will even grow in the cracks of the
sidewalk!

Does bronze fennel flower?? A friend gave me
a piece recently and it has
just started to grow. Also, have you heard of
something called Egyptian
Onion. It looks like the top of an onion, but
re-seeds by dropping its
bulbs. I also just put that in and don't know
what to expect from it.
