Janice, I also love Queen Anne's Lace, it grows along the roadsides here
with wild Lupines and wild Sweet Peas and other pretties. Have you seen
Anthriscus 'Raven's Wing'? It is like QA Lace but the leaves are dark
purple and the flowers the same airy white umbels. I grow mine with
Thalictrum aquilegifolium ( bluish leaves and lavender flowers) and the
combo is smashing. Please tell me about the Patrinia, I am not familiar with
