Marge -
Thanks for the info - from what you told me I have planted it in the right
bed but the wrong location....I guess I should give this little guy a little
more room. I have a collection of Alocasia's and they require a bit of extra
water and I put it in there with those guys and my Jap. Painted Ferns. The
colors are striking together. The gentleman I bought it from said that this
cultivar is not in the trade yet but will be coming out soon----hmmm.....he
did give me a website to look at it...if you would like to see it is
terranovanurseries.com....they have some beautiful things but not for retail.
They do provide the nurseries where you can acquire their plants and some
are familiar places to this post.
Well - you inspired me to join the American Horticulture Society...so because
of you they are two members richer...Pam and I both joined. We were looking
at the information about their annaul meetings and in the year 2000 in will
be here in Houston, Texas----Pam and I have a date to attend together and my
husband has already agreed to take vacation to watch the small ones. Are you
planning on attending? Speaking? We were hoping so.
Happy Gardening
