Re: Lisianthus and crushed rock


Well, besides the dumb question of why crushed won't work in your french
drain - have always thought any gravel suitable as long as it drains
water:-)... consider it for either path material or base material for paths
made of flagstone or brick.  Could also work well as drainage back up for
drystone walling.  If you have sticky clay, dig it in to improve drainage
tho' it is rather large, it does help clay drain.  If you want to raise
grade slightly around any trees, lay it down in a thick layer to prevent
killing off the feeder roots before you add soil...use it along building
walls under roof overhangs where nothing grows...
