Re: Hollyhocks

I don't know about you Doreen, but I'm having a great time.. I'm glad
that I haven't upset you with my teasing. I assure you that I'm
harmless, and consider me as a friend even if I am from Mississippi.
I do envy you your hollyhocks tho, I consider them a very beautiful
plant, and wish that it was as easy for me as it is for you to grown
them. maybe the secret is your climate. We have very hot and humid
conditions here. of course they bloom before it gets to bad. I haven't
a clue as to why I have such problems with them. I've had problems with
growing larkspurs, and now poppies. I get on a new kick every year. I
choose a new plant every year and fall in love, then the problems
start.

I have no idea what I would do with my time if it weren't for my
flowers. I do love to work with them and they are so pretty. I've even
converted my husband since he retired. this is something we do
together. I'm nuts for flowers and he helps me so much in the yard.
couldn't do it without him.

thanks for the offer of seed. I appreciate that and if you will e-mail
me privately with you mailing address, I would be glad to send a SASE
for the seed. would love to have some. maybe that's what I need, new
seed from the north. you think they would grow for me......ha ha ha

thanks again
