That's all correct.  However, those are genera.  At the family level all of
these genera -- Hemerocallis, Lilium, Alstromeria, and Hosta (and a few dozen
more) -- are all grouped in the Liliaceae.  There are, of course, some who
divide families into subfamilies, groups, etc. but that usually gets
complicated (sometimes even pedantic).  This Lilium forum obviously wants to
concentrate solely on the genus Lilium, the "true" lilies.   Some lists explain
things like that for the benefit of anyone wanting to join the list, some lists
don't.

So, tell us about your "lilies."  ;-)
