Kemberly,
A. 'Powis Castle' is a marvelous plant. Not aggressive at all;
simply beautiful. I have a few that are several years old and in
some spots it doesn't make it through hard winters...think it's a
drainage issue tho' I am not sure just how much farther north it is
at all hardy. Anybody growing it well in zones 6 and 5?
It does well for me in light shade - your sun is soooo hot. Does
best for me where it gets as much sun as I can offer (not great).
I find it needs a light haircut every spring, which is a good time to
root cuttings (need to do this), just as new growth starts.
