Re: Garden encyclopedia

I purchased this book for the pictures, and haven't been disappointed.
So far whatever I've looked up has been in there. I don't know if all the
plant descriptions are accurate, but the photography is excellent. The CD,
however, is terrible - too quirky in either the MAC or PC versions and
often crashes. Supposedly a CD update is out for about $30.00. The book is
worth the money in my opinion, but I didn't pay full price for it. Just
after Christmas it was on sale for $25.00 here in Massachusetts.

Also, I've heard that it is available from Borders under the Random House
label as well.
