Re: Perennial books

Hi, Linda:

My recommendation:The Flower Expert by Dr. D.G. Hessayon. This is the
world's best-selling book on flowers with more than 2,000,000 copies sold.
It is not by accident. This, of his many books, is a particularly useful
guide for both novice and pro. American readers will have to adjust slightly
to his distinctly British orientation and style. The book is profusely
illustrated, with succinct comments on care and maintenance of many
different plants. I've found his section on pests and diseases to be very
helpful. This is an inexpensive paperback which makes it even more of a
bargain. Paperback
