I moved some of these into my yard that had been dug out and left in a heap
all winter by builders--they started growing in the pile and I couldn't bear
to watch them die--lo and behold, they were fine, flowered the first year,
never seemed to notice. I think they're tough as nails. Just dig deep, the
roots are huge. Judy Warner
