Greetings from SE Wisconsin - USDA zone 5
I was looking through my garden journal today and realized that
everything in this part of the country is blooming about 3 weeks ahead of
schedule (or last year, as the case may be).
I have an Austrian Copper rose bush that faithfully blooms the fist week
in June . . . it's already done blooming. I have an miniature iris (deep
purple and no more than 3 inches high) that faithfully blooms on Mother's
Day . . . it's long gone.
We've had an amazing spring (it began in February, whereas normally it
warms up slightly in April), and I was just wondering if *El Nino'* had
bestowed this gift evenly across the country????
