Re: Wintering over in Pots

    I had several pots of hosta, lilies, and some other perennials which I
held over last winter. I sunk them into the ground in sawdust up to the rim
of the pots. They wintered beautifully and are blooming now. We are zone 6
winter here, which is -10 degrees at times. I didn't water them at all, just
let the rain water them. Everything I wintered over in this manner survived
and is doing well.
