We have a communitee garden that is totally manned by volunteers. Last year
after planting thousands of dollars of perennials they broad-cast preen and
lost just about every plant that they had put in. It is a useful tool when
handled properly.
You have to remember to be careful when using Preen! DO NOT GET IT ON THE
FOLIAGE OF THE PLANTS THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO
PROTECT......PERIOD..........PERIOD.........PERIOD.........PERIOD........ Be
careful. It's too easy to get lazy with even their sprinkler can. "DO NOT
GET IN ON THE FOLIAGE OF THE PLANTS THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO PROTECT.
This spring I spilled some Preen on some new seedlings and they all died. "DO
NOT GET IT ON THE FOLIAGE OF THE PLANTS THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO PROTECT.
Preen is another wonderful tool that the scientist have given us, however, one
needs to learn how to use is properly.
