Myrna:
For a romantic garden, while not a perennial but a great reseeder, how
about nigella, also known as Love-in -the-Mist or Persian Jewels?
Feathery foliage, flowers dark blue, light blue, pink or white. And the
seed pods are fascinating little balloons.
I also like Solomon's Seal. The variegated form is blooming now, lovely
little hanging white bells. Rue Anemone has an interesting leaf form,
airy.
And let's invite the preacher, Jack-in-the-Pulpit.
