Dot, the common name for Nepeta is catmint - cats (at least some) do like
to munch and wallow in the foliage of most species of Nepeta. 'Six Hills
Giant', is a particular clone - gets much taller than the regular Nepeta
species you generally find. All the ones I've known and grown have
gray-green foliage with a somewhat minty (not quite but sort of) scent when
brushed or crushed and blue flowers. They like sun, but will grow in a
fair amount of shade in my climate and probably yours...like high dappled
or morning or afternoon sun; not under a bush...all like very good
drainage, too. Nice plants IMO.
