No, I do not like this plant. It does not grow well here and flowers about
the time the frost kills it. I don't see it around much anymore but I do
remember when it was very desirable and you were "cognoscenti" if it was in
your garden.
On Melianthus, I may be lacking an artistic viewpoint but I don't see any
sense in growing some big ferny thing that collapses if you touch it too much
especially after paying a huge price for it. You cannot hold it over unless
you have major greenhouse space as it becomes quite large. I yield to all
those who love Melianthus, I am not one.
