Hello,
I am feeling wordy today, so ....
For the rest of us in cold, what is still blooming or just still looking really good.
For me, phlox, an old white that belonged to my grandmother, several of the mums, a pink daisy form, a yellow button and a dark red button forms, and my Ozawa allium only opened a few days ago. I really love the color. The grasses are coming into their own, but many of my taller sedums were flattened by an early snow.
As I do my fall clean up, I am realizing that many things need to be divided come spring, how do you keep track of them? I am considering spray painted bamboo stakes bright orange and using short sections to mark these. It seems that paired with a paper/electronic list should work. My hope is that the markers will be more visible in the spring as I start my rounds. I can then pot them up for friends and sales.
