Re: Climbing roses

This past summer, when we went to Maine on vacation, we stopped at the
Roseraie at Bayfields. It was great - they have all the roses from their
catalog all around their big yard, hundreds of them, you could take hours
going around it. The roses looked in very good shape. I got five (all I
could fit in the car, which was all packed up - some that I had been
wanting and some that I hadn't heard of but they enticed me on the spot.
Saw lots of others that I want. Dublin Bay, I think, a very dark red
climber, and several others, I don't have my catalog here. I put them in
about Sept. 1st, (Zone 6a/b) and Ballerina started blooming immediately, a
really nice rose. I can't wait til next year, I'll try to leave room for a
few more.
