Last year several of my plants did this (the offsets were up in the air,
on the flower stalks, that's what you are referring to, right?) I didn't
try it but I'd guess that cutting them off and potting them up would
work, or even better, pinning down the stalk and covering the bottom part
of the aerial plantlet with soil and keeping it watered until roots form,
then cutting off the stalk.
I am wondering if this is a response to stress? This year mine didn't do
it but there was plenty of water up through blooming time.
