Hello Merri,
Curious... do you happen to live out in the country with a hay field very close by? I was told by my extension agent that we get blister beetles when the nearby fields are cut for hay and drives out the insects to your gardens. I don't think he is on track, for I got the beetles before they began cutting the fields near us. What say you??

I get blister beetles on the three I have, though 'September Charm' was hit the hardest, 'Pamina' next and Honorine Jobert not at all, and it's right next to Pamina. I have had deer nibble on the blossoms, though they leave the leaves alone. Merri Morgan
