Hi Renata,
I met the same kind of problems with my potentillas last year and also this
year here in Istanbul-Turkey, zone 7.
I severely pruned all browning parts last year. My potentillas were
beautiful this year.
Again I pruned hard this year and I expect to have the same result.
I am also curious about other ways of keeping potentillas healthy looking
for long periods in summer.
Regards.
