all I wanted was a nice dry arrangment for the winter. I do this
every year, but this is a first for me. I'm not sure I want
15 new hydrangeas in my yard. if they didn't require so much
water, if they were pink instead of blue,
I would like to experiment with a couple of these.
I've been trying for years to get my blues to turn pink without success.
so I think I will pot a couple of them up and mix some lime in the soil
and see what happens. even if they only turn lavander
that would be a change from blue. I've got 3 blues already.
I have a good location for them, but had planned to put
oak leaf hydrangeas there, because it's in a shady area and
I thought the white would be much better for that location.
oh well, I've got to decide soon, because Marge says that I should pot them up soon.
