Re: strange things are happening

Mississippi is extremely hot, humid, and also dry. funny you should
ask about our winters, my neice and I were discussing the weather just
this week and she made the statement that she hoped the temp droped
below 90 before Christmas.
This past January we had temps mostly in the 60's and 70's Feb. was
about the same, in March I put broccilli plants in the ground and I
also put my calla lilies in pots. my iris bloomed in April.
we do have some cold weather at times, We have had ice storms for the
past 2 years and it will cripple this area for a few days and then it
could be in the 60's and 70's
we could be wearing shorts one day and the next day have to drag out the
sweats again. so it's a toss-up we just have to go with the flo.
every year my royal star magnolia and my saucer magnolia get in full
bloom and we have and artic blast come through and then I have brown
blooms.
I had petunias last year that didn't die they were pretty and green
all winter.
I wished I lived in an area where the weather made some kind of sense
oh well, I don't know yet what I'm gonna do with these hydrangeas.
all I wanted was a nice arrangement for the winter and you see what I
got. I may just cut the roots off and stick them back in the
vase "that would solve my problem" of course I don't know if
I can bring myself to do that. those could be flowers one day you
know that don't you?
