Well, things didn't seem particularly effective. Bob, as you suggested,
burning the plant to a crisp takes a *long* time with the flame. The
quick passes that I envisioned were anything but... However, I *did*
get to play with fire (that's just a joke, folks).
It's getting close to the end of the planting season, so I may have
to just dig them all out by hand. Ick.
