Andrew---there is also some evidense that suggests that flat vining may be
exacerbated or brought on by a dose of extreme heat or a few very warm
wilt-like days. The jury isn't out on all causes of this phenomenon but I'd
say it is both genetic and environmentally stimulated......Glenn (grew
819Stephanson,1092Burke and 636Welty flat vines last year.)
