Peach shade

My patch is 25 feet wide north to south by 80-100 feet long. It slopes
very slightly to the east, or downhill side. The better soil is on the
upslope (west) side. I had planned to plant both of my plants at the
'top' of the patch and train them toward the bottom, but I'm troubled by
a peach tree about 15 feet tall and almost as wide that's just over the
fence on the northwest side. By mid-afternoon the tree casts a shadow
over the NW corner of the patch. 
What should I do?
