Did anybody ever give it a thought about the seeds from each segment out of the same fruit have different lintages ( possible ) They have been crossed so many times,could there be multiple genes in the same flower,so when pollinated one type of gene could pollinate one of the segments while another type could do it to another segment,hence havig a five lobe fruit with five different backrounds.
