I talked to a guy yesterday and he told me that there are two types of
Systemic. One it taken into the plant through the roots and then distributed
to the rest of the plant.
The other type is absorbs into the plant where the spray is applied. It
then stays where it was sprayed.
I believe that is why some are sprayed on and some are applied in a soil
drench.
This is the information that I was given over the phone while talking to a
pesticide salesman, I do not have any hardcopy evidence to back it up.
