I have been growing Big Max. This year I planted AG for the first time. I
have only 15'x15' garden space. My AG main is already 17' long with
healthy secondaries. A pumpkin has been pollinated and is growing on the
main vine, 7' from the main root. I do not think that I should stop the
main at 15'. Wrapping it around (back on itself) will be messy and
interfere with the secondaries. Question: Can I put a wire mesh fence
around the perimeter and allow the vines to grow up the fence, effectively
increasing the vine lengths and leaf surface area??? Any suggestions
appreciated. What a plant the AG is!
