I cannot see why not. But reinforce that fence! And watch out that a fruit
does not set up there on the fence and eventually tear itself down as it
reaches 50+ pounds.
I usually let at least one vine grow up a fence just for the
gee whiz!" effect it has on tourists. Or out of sheert laziness.
