hey paul,

I live in Phoenix, Arizona. the normal temp around here is 105 degrees.
i Planted Burpee Prizewinner Hybrid in Late April. my biggest pumpkin on
there weighs about 60 pounds. this is my first year growing, and i have
noticed that now since i water my plants heavily every day, they dont
droop anymore, even in the heat of the day. i put no shade over my
plants at all, and they are just fine. try prizewinner. i planted my
dill seed too late. i should have done it in february with the rest of
my garden.
