Re: plants not laying down

A trick I use to keep the vines down and not to get them to high...is to
insure the MV stays under the leaves and doesn't get on top of them...then it
seems to stay much lower as the growing leaf pushes it down...this requires
daily updates of the main vine and leaves...however, with this process...I
rarely have initial problems with the vines.
Hope that helps...bottom line get them early and they will stay down.

Debbie,

The plants grow straight up for several weeks before they start to lay down.
Mine are in that process right now. They are starting to bend over and vine.
Your plants are going through the normal growth pattern. Give them another
week and I bet the main vines start to lay down. Do not try and force the
vines down as the vines could easily snap.
