Roger,

Not sure I follow what your saying ....300lbs from a 150lb seed are you
talking  prizewinners or big max that have the genetic limitation? If so
then I understand what your saying. If your talking AG then  a 150lb
phenotype fruit could have the genetic potential of 9 times its weight
 and just needs the right cultural practices/climate to unlock the
potential.  I am thinking that the original hybrid cross Dill made may have
had the genetic potential way back when and not the techniques/climate to
fully express them.
