Hello list,
I have been following the feeding schedule suggested by Don's book,
Growing Giant Pumpkins II and for this period of growth he suggests
using a high nitrogen fertilizer weekly. I purchased calcium nitrate,
15.5-0-0, which came in granular form. Does anyone know if this can be
dissolved and used as a weekly application? Don's book says to apply as
per the label directions, weekly. The directions on the label say to
mix a teaspoon of the granules into the soil once a season and to avoid
all contact with leaves.
Thanks,
Laurie
