I am wondering what everyone else thinks and whether an attempt should
be made to make the weigh-off date more flexible.Any thoughts??????

Marv : I'd like to see a way to get the most out of the growing
season. A couple of years ago I had a pumpkin continue growing until a
week before Halloween. It ended up being my heaviest pumpkin. Why does
a person have to "kill" their pumpkin early ? If there is going to be
new world records one way to help is to let them grow !!!
