Steve,
I'm in Clinton Iowa straight west of chicago and am having the same type things here. Your right the weather has been a little harsh lately. Do you have them cover with some sort of poly greenhouse?? I started 3 plants about 6 days before my real plants and did not cover them. When my real plants went out I've cover and uncovered according to the weather religiously. I wanted to see how big of difference it really makes. The real plants have about 5 leaves while the uncovered ones 6 days older still only have ONE true leaf!!! So cover them if you don't and if they look healthy just be patient. They should come around. I try to have plants starting to vine by the 1st week of june. Hope this helps
