AG's need about 1" of water per week over the entire plant as the vines will
grow tap roots also. The watering schedule should be consistent and not
fluctuate drastically, especially in hot, dry weather. However, if the watering
is a constant drip it will most likely cause the ground to become moldy and
starve the soil of much needed oxygen. Your soil type will also dictate how
much water to apply. The soil should be moist during the day and the surface
should be allowed to dry by evening.
