Hi Chriss,
Thanks for the response. I actually got his first two books years ago and
they were full of very good info. I signed upfor BP.com this past summer but
never looked at it yet b/c I've been so busy. Having my soil tested is
something I've never done yet. I usually buy a load of peat and make a big
hill for my pumpkins. I mix some topsoil in with it and add fertilizer. I
think this has been my big mistake all along. I probably add too much
fertilizer to the plants. Not having the soil tested is probably causing the
pumpkins not to have enough of some trace elements I need for it too. Anybody
know of any clubs to join in NE PA? Thanks again for the info. I'll be over
