Re: By-By Pumpkin
Kristeenie:
Sorry, didn't mean to come across as blaming you & yours, far from it. But I do often
wonder if the parents of the culprits arre really completely aware of what they're doing.
& are they really aware of the consequences of this continued behavior upong the
culprit's life? If they really aremn't aware of either the "crime" or the real
seriousness of teh situation in letting it go unpunished; they may even change their
attitude if they find out what happened. For my money, it's worth trying. They may have
just admired the big pumpkin that "Bobby" brought home & had no idea that it was stolen.
But that's thge point that needs to be made. The word is "stolen"; not prank; not
borrowed. I would like to think that some parents, upon finding out what their kids did,
would really hit the roof; raise such a stink that it would become very clear to the
culprit that this was not a good thing & should not happen again , nor anything similar.
I apologise if I came on too strong, but this is happening too often. The other reason I
worry is that if stealing this from someone is so easy, what is to prevent them from
coming back & taking something more serious or hurting the occupants or their animals if
discovered during the theft. As an example: did youknow that more tha 90% of animal
abusers will go on to hurt a human being, frequently seriously?
I just believing in nipping this in the bud (good phrasing for a gardener, huh). I don't
believe in revenge. I just believe in stopping a wrongdoer before any more harm is done.
Take care,
TerryLynn
