[Fwd: Wanted 100 Big Mac Pumpkins]

This is for any NewEngland grower that can help this person out, maybe
Wayne Hackney if he is still out there?

Hello Rocky,

I found your website, and checked the list of seeds that you have, but I
couldn't get the page from there describing different types of
pumpkins. I was hoping you might have some information for me. First,
my search has been for Big Macs. What is the whole name of that
particular pumpkin? It may help me find them.

I'm looking for a grower of Big Mac Pumpkins; we need to purchase about
100 more for the Great Jack-o-Lantern Fest to be held in Roger Williams
Park Zoo Oct.11 through Oct.31 in RI. A total of 5,000 jack-o-lanterns
will be on display including Howdens, Atlantic Giants, and Big Macs.

The crew rents a truck and picks up from a grower in CT. This year his
pumpkins are smaller than usual, and we're looking for
more large pumpkins. We are all set with Atlantic Giants, and the Big
Macs are easier to carve and display.

Do you grow Big Macs? If so, how many, how much do you charge, and
where are you located? If you don't grow them, do you know anyone close

to or in New England who does? Carving headquarters are located in
Central MA, and this is our 13th season so we are not a fly by night
outfit.

Please contact me via e-mail or telephone. I will get in touch with the

director, who is very difficult to contact directly because of the
festival activities. Lights, sound effects, even fog machines have to
be preset, logs are cut and arranged, a path is roped off, and sometimes

a little pond is added. All this has to be done before the pumpkins are

carved! Also, I had to smile when your page said that you're a
postman. The director, John Reckner, is a mail carrier in Oxford, MA,
and I have worked for the Northern HASP sorting facility of the PO for a
few years, on and off!

Thank you for any information you can give to me,
