Hi, George!
I posted a question about the same time as Sue C. Maybe you could help
me like you helped her. It IS a serious question, and no one has
answered yet.
David's shallow-ribbed pumpkin has developed hairline cracks along its
ribs. Yesterday I discovered that mine has also, although IF my little
fatso has ribs, they're covered by so much baby fat that they are not
apparent. 
1. Are these aught to be concerned about?
2. If so, what should we do?
3. In either case, what causes them?
